The Night Shift, Season 1

The premise for this show offers potential for good entertainment value while addressing current issues for millennials, yet the lack of good writing and competent directing demands more suspension of disbelief than a discriminating viewer can muster. I will not purchase season two.

This show is fantastic, great plot and setting. Characters you can get attached to. Always keeping you on the edge of your seat, all in all amazing show hands down. For all the people say that it seems as if this show was made by a "14 year old", yea I'd like to see you come up with a show and try and get everyone to like it. Nobody wants you're negativity, try and make a better story and see who will actually get into it. Yea no one.

I am hooked on this show and now have a Crush on TC Callahan...... I recommend that people should watch this show.......

I’m a huge fan of the 90’s TV show ER. I have watched/own all seasons, however after all these years I was hunting for something new; I stumbled upon some shows like ‘Black Box’ [which was great but got canceled after season 1]. Next I saw The Night Shift, it is an OK show. But the script like many others feels like it was written by a 14 year old. so much drama, at some point it feels like the actors are just well…acting. However, it is better then nothing :) cheers!

This show is amazing!! Mark my words this is the next big drama out there!

Great fun! Good characterization, enough plot and not a soap opera. I hope it stays the course. So far it is thoroughly enjoyable.

I was hooked on the first episode. I'm a retired Navy nurse and I've seen all these people before but not all of them in the same place & time. I'd recommend it a must watch to everyone.

The first 2 episodes do a nice job introducing the main characters and demonstrating where some storylines will likely touch on in the coming weeks. A nicely diverse batch of characters. I do wonder. . . where are the physicians 40+? Adding a couple of sexy actors over 40 would add more depth to the potential relationships and plot lines.

I couldn't make it throughout the whole episode. The script feels written by someone about 14 who has no experience with what really goes on in a hospital. The medical staff is so far out of line - for example the crazy doc who is so full of himself he knows the outcome of a yanking tree branch from a mans chest and talks down to paramedics who are doing their job and later punches out a hospital administrator all on the same day a female physical walks in on another doc and takes over his patient with the air of a magician - belittling the other doctor who was following protocol. No one who acts like this would survive in a hospital setting. It's so stupid it's amazing anyone would produce this garbage. The acting is way over the top/horrible.
