Master of the Universe

This Austrian documentary rambles on with no apparent point. Are we supposed to feel sorry for this Austrian trader who was clearing $100k a month?

This a very good movie about a German banker's view of the financial collapse. It's mostly in German, so you have to deal with the subtitles. I rented it for $0.99 and it's gone up now but if you want a look at the world from a 'different inside view', it's very good.

No matter how bad things get, there are always those willing to bet on it.

I’ve heard most, but not all of the information in this movie. It’s a powerful reminder of what’s heading our way. Living day to day one can easily forget that we are careening toward a global financial meltdown. I don’t see anything to stop it The powers that be learned nothing from 2008. Greed has made them insanely reckless. People who despise this movie just don’t want to hear the truth.

Lopsided and unilateral. This documentary lacks any foundational base. Opinions of one disenchanted worker do not substantiate an actuality of an industry, nor an interesting two hours.

I waited and watched, and watched for something insightful or interesting and it just never happened. This is a movie about a guy wearing a scarf talking about nothing for 90 minutes.

This is a bad movie. There are no insights that hasn't been shared before. It is just one man talking for 50 minutes and 40 minutes of time filling meaningless images. Just compare this to Jiro loves sushi....the quality of story telling night and day. I really can write bad things about this movie until the battery on my iPad runs out.

Boring, no new insights on finance.

There is nothing here but a whining investment banker. You will learn nothing new. I mean you won’t learn anything at all. What a waste of film
