Terrible. Mandel is far more irritating than funny, the whole enterprise comes off more cheap than magical (unless a wooden shanty town with Christmas lights is your idea of a magical world) and there is really nothing about it worth recommending. Nostalgia might influence some reviewers here, but many of us knew it was awful when we were still kids. There is a legitimate reason why this bombed. Little Monsters 2 didn't happen for a good reason.
