I’m absolutely in love with this doc! I was in the mood for a really good laugh! WAF debuted 3+ years ago and it still hits the mark every time I see it! Bonnie and several A-list comedians give the viewer an inside look at how women work and are treated in what once was considered (and apparently still is) a male-only profession. Bonnie, never made this movie feel like it was a one-sided feminists view of a women’s potential to make people laugh. Which in this era is refreshing b/c (SPOILER ALERT): In the end, it turns out, funny is funny, with or without a uterus!

Bonnie McFarlane isn't funny. But she's definitely hardworking and smart and insightful. And I hope she figures it out.

I used to like rich and Bonnie, that all took a turn for the worst when Bonnie stomped off after being offended by pat Dixon on tacs, followed by rich acting better than everybody else. I know that's par for the course with rich voss but I've had enough of him. Voss stinks and so does his wife, get off your high horses you're the worst

This movie is great! A fascinating documentary. Kudos to Bonnie - Bravo! The male comics are very, very funny. The female comics ... ah, the movie would be better without them. :)
  • If u gave this doc more than 2 stars then u also aren't funny and I feel sorry for u.

I don't think I laughed once while watching this. I shut it off half way thru bc I thought I was maybe being trolled. Why would u make a doc about how people think women aren't funny... AND THEN PROVE IT TO EVERYONE?!

Great insite into this topic. Been meaning to buy and watch for a while. Glad I finally got around to it. Many good points are made, and pleanty of things to think about. Buy this movie...if for no other reason than Rick Vos is old and will need to be put in a home soon. They get expensive.

Most of the bad reviews of this movie are from people who don't understand that comedy involves themes such as irony and satire. It's meant to make you laugh. This movie isn't meant to be a groundbreaking Tom Brokaw journalistic piece. Have a sense of humor.
