Rigor Mortis

Cinematography was fantastic, special effects were first rate, and not overdone. Loved the plot. I generally dislike Hong Kong/Chinese cinema...this was very good.

It was not what i expected. I really thought there was going to be a lot more of the supernatural, but I did enjoy the movie. I am a big fan of Asian horror movies. Visually the movie is beautiful but the storyline is confusing. Bottom line, it is worth the watch!!!

What a great movie! The story line, the characters and the special effect propel it far, far away from your bad, trashy horror movies. This one has an amazing special effects and an even better story.

A true cinematic masterpiece, coupled with superior acting by all, with an intriguing storyline that keeps the viewer guessing. Really a lot of fun. Wish I had bought it, instead of renting, as it is the kind of movie one would,Ike to watch at least twice.

This film is stunning to watch, but from a storyline perspective its just a very disjointed film. I don’t think the script could ever stand on its own. 5 stars to the cinematographer. 1 star to the writer. 3 stars for a Director who’s still developing their skills.

Personally, I don’t really like action horror. So I was a little skeptic going into Rigor Mortis. Surprisingly, this is one of the better action horror movies I’ve ever seen. It’s not great, but it blends action and horror near perfectly. It’s not like the Resident Evil movies how they focus more on action than scares. Not too much makes sense at the beginning but as the movie progresses, things start to make a little more sense. The end kinda threw me off and I still don’t know what to think about it. But Rigor Mortis is still worth a watch, especially if you’re in the mood for something a little different.

This movie is not even remotely scary. The special effects are not special. The plot did not even make sense nor was it anything worth remembering. If you value your time stay away from this dull and uninspired crap.

I have to say, I absolutely love visually stunning films. Films that really consider atmosphere, mood, and balance to create a specific flow. This is one of those movies. It is a beauty to watch, and the events flow seamlessly, with the visually fidelity never letting up. It is one of those movies that you just enjoy watching because it is beautifully crafted, although the story is very well written. It has all the makings of a classic. Highly recommended.
