Description

A young hero, an exalted heiress, a troubled rogue, and a party girl- These are the four members of RWBY, a team brought together and trained for the sole purpose of combating the rampant evils that plague the fantastic world of Remnant. RWBY focuses on 15-year-old Ruby Rose, a young girl who has just been accepted to Beacon academy. This ancient school was founded to train the monster-slayers known as Huntsmen and Huntresses. However, Ruby will not be alone. Upon arriving at Beacon, she is promptly paired with Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. If these four girls want to graduate they'll have to learn to work together both on the battlefield and in the classroom.

If you like story, if you like characters, if you like plot, if you like intrigue, if you like shows that can make you both laugh and cry, then look no further. I won’t waste anyone’s time describing the show: if you haven’t seen this, put this down and press play already. (But maybe finish your errands first...👀) Once you’ve started, you won’t want to stop!

This is essentially Harry Potter anime style. The whole story is way too similar. I was almost assuredly too old to watch. I'd say it's geared toward Young Adults. The dialog is fairly childish and doesn't hold much interested for true adults.

At first I didn't know what to expect when I first started watching. I didn't know about the four trailers, Red, White, Black and Yellow that gave an introduction to the characters. So for me it was a little bit of a slower start to learning what the show/movie was like. Now I'm waiting as new episodes of volume 4 come out with excitement and anticipation!! I've watched all three volumes over and over again. Truly a show to bring out your inner hero. It will make you laugh, cry, worry, wonder, feel warm & fuzzy and gasp at some of the events and touching moments that happen. You really become attached to these young huntsmen and huntresses while watching them preform wonderful, complex battles and as they become close to one another. Creating bonds that will last a lifetime. I definitely recommend this to anyone who's into - as I'll call it - a new aged renaissance. It's a show filled with a lot of emotion and character, you won't be disappointed! Start watching!!

RWBY is the final project of the legendary graphic designer, and fight choreographer Monty Oum, who began in his teenage years with classic Internet hits like Haloid, and the final fight series. What the series lacks in plot and dialog in the first season it more then makes up for in raw action. The plot improves greatly volume to volume and the story darkens. Steady improvement across all aspects make this a must have for any action fan.
