no better than your average network TV drama. maybe worse. acting is weak, plot predictable.

The reviews on this movie have been hacked. You can absolutely tell the reviews are not real after watching the movie. I wish I could return this movie's memory from my brain and get back the time I wasted.

  • This movie is so stupid, where to begin

I could not get through the whole thing. I work in advertising and this is trite material. Advertising does not even work the way they portray it here. Also any loser who quotes from their marketing class books like they are scripture is an idiot.
  • Who are the people writing good reviews?

Terrible script and lousily acting. I can veg out with some pretty bad movies, but couldn't hang more than fifteen minutes with this one.

You can sort of just tell it was made by a young and vibrant group of people having fun. It's a blast to watch…sort of alienating in the way that you don't relate to the characters as you'd expect, yet you see yourself as very relatable at the same time, spending the whole time sort of projecting a "LOL I'd love to know what it's like to be in that position" mentality. It's fast and fun and I really really do recommend it.

I loved the film! It pokes fun at society (in a funny way) and shows the extreme of what could be like when marketing goes wrong! The plot varies from the book, but it still keeps to the essence of what the story is getting at. The cast was great and worked together really well. I was definitely pro the change of location from LA (book) to NYC. Whether you watch it just for the comedy or you really read into and discuss the message, it's a great movie to watch!

Tongue in cheek story about marketing and human gullibility. Had me laughing from the start. Not really a chick flick or romance (which might explain some "angry" reviews) even though the cover art implies this. Also, Kellan Lutz and Brittany Snow were barely in this movie but their parts were integral to the plot. Everyone needs a nemesis, right?

i don't understand. the only way it makes sense to me that this movie has received so many positive ratings is if reviewers are being paid to write positive reviews. who are you all?
