Description

Nine-year-old Jessica believes in Heaven, Santa Claus and flying reindeer. One day, she finds a wounded reindeer in the snowy woods. Believing it is the real Prancer, she wants to nurse it back to health so she can 'return it to Santa.' Her effort to save it brings about wonderful changes in the lives of everyone: her father (Sam Elliott), their unusual neighbor (Cloris Leachman), a crotchety veterinarian (Abe Vigoda), a department store Santa (Michael Constantine), and the people of the town.

    Screw this movie it tries to make me cry, but I'm not crying I have allergies.. Yes definately allergies. Seriously though this is one of the best heartwarming, tear jerking Christmas movies.

    you had to point out that the coocoo girl believes in heaven, didn’t you? who even cares, believing in heaven shouldn’t be a major point of your character, and shouldn’t have to be mentioned in the description. how rude.

    Our all time favorite Christmas movie. Such a special and real story that has touched us year after year. My childhood Christmas memories all include this magical movie! Can’t wait for my daughter to fall in love with it as I did. It’s not Christmas without “Prancer” !

    I love this movie and can't wait to watch it with my 4 yr old grand daughter this weekend - she will love it. If your child loves animals - they will love this movie. All around great family movie that warms the heart. The entire family ended up watching the movie from young to grandma and grandpa's. Everyone commented what a cute movie!

    I am so mad that the "tomato" reviewers would even put spoil and say no magic christmas touch! The whole movie is heart warming! The movie does provide the christmas magic touch, it's as real as it gets! I love this movie so much my mother and I watch it like 10 times every christmas and once in a while even if its not christmas.. It gives the heart warming, magical, mysterious, and don't forget wonderful experience! I recommend this movie, It may seem old to other kids these days but it touches the hearts of those who love classical christmas movies! It's one of the best movies out there!!!

    This is a warm and pleasing movie. Good wins out and compassion heals all concerned. It's fun to watch too. Reindeer, determined and loving little girl, and crusty father all come together in a well written plot. If you don't find something to like in this tale, I'll feel sorry for you.
