I love Michael Caine. I liked this movie. Not for everyone but if you like the satisfaction of retribution and vengeance ... Slice of life Glad I rented it.

Where is the rent button, is it missing? Has it some how escaped the programming code and jumped ship? I for one sure miss that rent button.

Although Harry Brown's plight is interesting, the movie is so filled with graphic language, sex, and violence as to be unwatchable.
  • Good but violent

I like a good guy story and the acting is excellent with Caine but too much was shown. We can tell someone died without the gore. We can tell there was violence without acting it out. We can tell there has been sexual abuse without seeing it on the screen. I wish movies would leave more to the viewers imagination and less explicit visuals. Still a great movie and story.

FINALLY A MOVIE THAT SHOWS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE BECOME DEFENSELESS WITHOUT A GUN: THE CRIMINALS GET THE GUNS!!! AND WE ARE FORCED TO DO NOTHING BUT BE KILLED OR HIDE. A BRILLIANT EYE-OPENER TO THE REALITY OF THIS EVIL WORLD. MICHAEL CAINE DOES A PHENOMENAL JOB IN THIS MOVIE!!! IF YOU ARE A REAL MAN, YOU WILL LOVE THIS MOVIE.
