Akasha's malevolent power is so great that all the immortal vampires must stand against her if they want to survive! The movie was thrilling and inspiring. The lengths one will go to connect. Yet all he needed was a special connection with another dark arts seeker. 5*****
  • Good but they missed the movie part. RIP Aaliyah.

The whole point of renting a movie is to see the main character. She was absent for a full hour.

I don’t understand the rave reviews for this film. The storyline is ok. Some of the actors need to go back to acting school. Not an awesome film in my opinion.

The soundtrack alone draws the allure of Queen Akasha’s influence and resolve as a vampire queen in this cult classic film. Lestat and Marius draw us closer into how the vampires want both to be closer to humans while at the same time distant based on the allure of anonymity and frailty. A classic and timeless film!

No disrepect to Aaliyah's memory but this movie was so far removed from the book it wasn’t even funny. All fans of the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles should be insulted by this and the directors should be ashamed.... This movie was so ridiculously not like the book I'm surprised it got funded.
