Description

Welcome to the deadliest game you'll ever play. Colm Feore (Paycheck) and Matt Lanter (Heroes) wage war against state-of-the-art defense technology in this riveting, pulse-pounding sequel to the thrilling WarGames. When Will Farmer (Lanter) hacks into a restricted network of online gaming known only as R.I.P.L.E.Y., he stumbles onto a national defense system designed to ferret out fledgling terrorist cells and becomes Ripley's next target. His identity compromised, his family and friends jeopardized and his hometown in the cross hairs of an automated military response, Will's only hope to clear his name lies in beating Ripley at her own game. But when the game escalates to the next level, it becomes a race against time to stop Ripley from unleashing Armageddon.

Bad acting. Bad story. Unoriginal. I can't tell if this movie was written by a 2 but hacker who can't write or a 2 but writer who can't hack. Post production of the film was high school quality and the sound track wasn't even that good. Sounded like throw back audition tapes from the karate kid part iii.

yes the first one rocked but that one was released in 1983 before my time. THis gives us a fresh new look at wargames in the digital age of War.
  • The film isn't the same without Matthew Broderick

WHY, MGM?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS? JUST BUY THE ORIGINAL FILM! IT'S BETTER! IT IS VERY UNFITTING WITHOUT MATTHEW BRODERICK!

I liked this movie. It has a swift pace and is well made. It leans on Wargames quite a bit. If you liked Wargames, you most likely will like this one, as well.

the movie was just a 21st century version of the old movie, personally the old one was better. not really worth seeing if you've watched the other. i was also bored throughout the movie, the story wasnt that great
