Lady Macbeth

To be clear, this movie has nothing to do with Macbeth by William Shakespeare. It does however borrow the idea of a wifes lust for power and status. Florence Pugh is excellent as Katherine, the girl who has been bought by a wealthy family to marry their son. Ignore the one and two star reviews, there is always something happening if you're paying attention. Watch the trailer, if it looks like the kind of movie you'd enjoy then ckeck it out.

Great photography, actress and history.

I watched this on HBO one night and it was boring until about 3/4 of the way in, but in no way is it an action film after that either. Not worth renting or spending money to see it.

I waited for so long to see this film and I was dissapoitned by the film. Not much happens and there really isn't a climax, there's a lot silence. If you liked Manchester By The Sea you'll like Lady Macbeth, if not, watch something else. I appreciated this beautiful peace of work of a classic, but it wasn't for me.

Fantastic world created by this film.

not much hapened, very predictable

This was the most ridiculous, awful film anyone could have ever done!!! I cannot believe people can stoop SO low in today's age and not come up with something new and original that is worth watching! THIS IS GARBAGE!!
