Idris Elba (Star Trek Beyond) stars as Sean Briar, a rogue CIA agent who isn't afraid to step on a few toes to solve a case. While roaming the streets of Paris, a pickpocket (Richard Madden, TV’s "Game of Thrones") swipes a bag containing a bomb and inadvertently ruins a bank heist attempt by corrupt French government officials. Now labeled as a terrorist threat and running for his life, the only person who can save him is Sean. This unlikely duo joins forces to solve the case before they become victims in a devious plot of international conspiracy.

    Not great, but quite good. Elba does his usual good work and the supporting cast is good. Lots of action and low-key humor. Decent plot. Fights and action scenes are well-choreographed and realistic. And of course, Idris lends his unique personality to his character. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

    The same mopiness, depressing, overbearing, scowling, low monotone acting... but i liked Daniel and I like this film... script was bad but the acting was good... hope he doesnt get the 007 gig, but he deserves his own spy trilogy... the guy is fun to watch!

    The Take is definitely worth a watch. I got this movie when it was reduced in price & it's worth EVERY PENNY of the full price. I'll definitely watch it again and share it with friends and family. Obviously it's an action movie & it doesn't disappoint. Good plot, great acting, casting & directing, much better than the rotten tomatoes rating, honestly worth 4 stars. A fun way to spend 92 min. Idris Elba is awesome as always, an excellent addition to his movie catalog!

    I enjoyed this movie a lot. Great plot. Great action scenes. Very entertaining and fast paced. I enjoyed it a lot better than the new Jason Bourne movie. Some might call it cheesy but it was actually fun to watch.
