Cage's charactor was played superb. I really like how him and Wood gave the facial expressions and realistic feel of authenticity. However, the ending was a bit of disappointment, but the rest was fantasically written and shot. Great caper flick I enjoyed and recommend.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this excellent film, especially since Mr. Cage has lost some credibility in recent years. The quirky performances and well played characters kept things gliding along with peripheral shocks that steamrolled to an effective dramatic climax. The mix of humor and drama made this film memorable & unique - combining the sheer muscle of Michael Mann's “Thief” and the lucky “Sad Sacks" of “The Brink’s Job”. I’m not a J.L. fan - but I wish there was more Jerry Lewis playing off Nicolas Cage... I bet there was some entertaining footage on the cutting room floor.
  • it's a $6.99 rental

The 6.99 in SD or HD says it. They worked harder on the trailer for this movie. I was dipsapointed when I saw it released as a 69r. One out 10 times these overpriced qet rich quick movie releases can be entertaining but this was predictible and boring. Besides, Cage hasn't been in a true classic film since the 90's, with the excpetion of National Treasure. That's even a stretch unless you're a nostalgic and patriotic American couch potato. But one star for Cage and one for the Hobbit or is that Harry Potter?!

It’s not going to be a classic heist film, but as a rental to escape reality for an hour and a half, it was an entertaining movie. Some pretty funny moments, and a good bit of suspense, if you need something to watch and you like Nick Cage or Elijah Wood, then you’ll like this. As a movie to pass some time, I’d recommend.
