Pernicious

I only rented this because the ad kept popping up on my Facebook feed. Thoroughly mediocre at best.

I really didn't think that could be a genre but I guess it has become my favorite one! Some great dumb fun I had. The premise is pretty good and so is the execution. Frankly recommended!

Very unnerving, awesomely creepy movie. The dynamic with the three main characters is the best part, their acting is good and each character feels unique and different. The way the film is edited, we get to see all three of them being haunted one by one, tripling the scares. This film has one of the coolest plot devices I’ve seen in horror (which I won’t spoil) but in short, it paves a loose end which isn’t tied up until the finale. And the way it all ends is truly memorable and eerie. I’m not usually a fan of violence (I prefer classic scares) but this movie delivers both, and great characters, so I’m all about it.

Honestly, this movie was better than I had expected! What I liked most about this movie is that it has the unexpected. It's refreshing to watch a film and not automatically know whats going to happen next, or how it's going to end.

Horrible movie. Don't waste your time on this one.
