Description

Earth X is one of many realities in the multiverse, with one glaring difference from our Earth; the Nazis won World War II! Led by The Ray, it is here that a group of heroes known as the Freedom Fighters lead the battle against tyranny. But when The Ray is transported to our Earth to save his life, he passes his powers to his unsuspecting counterpart, Ray Terrill. Supercharged with super human abilities, this newly christened The Ray must adapt and overcome the challenges of crime fighting, albeit with a little help from The Flash and Green Arrow. Seasoned and ready to fight, The Ray now faces his biggest battle, a return to Earth X to lead the Freedom Fighters against Overgirl and her evil Nazi henchmen!

This movie wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst. This was a story about coming out, but also about acceptance. Not only yourself but others who are different. The action was albeit small, it was still enjoyable. This movie is missing something but I’m not certain what. If LGBT storylines are not your thing, then I would totally skip this one

Weak. Preachy politics-first, story-last DC fare. Complete wast of money.

Great movie and nice animated adaptation of CW Arrowverse characters. The negative reviews seem to be more about people’s homophobia than actual quality of the movie. I personally applaud DC’s willingness to not only acknowledge that given the size of their multiverse/multiearth concept and the number of superheroes/villains in it that some of them would logically have to be LGBTQ, but to produce and distribute a movie with that as part of the main story line. Won’t deny that some of the dialogue gets a little “preachy”, but they’re using it to make a point. And if a fictional Earth-X were the only place where there was hatred for people because of who they are, it wouldn’t be necessary.
  • Good story - diversity is strength

This is a good movie which adds to a crowded lineup of superhero movies, series and shorts. This provides a much-needed new and fresh story that is relevant to our times; more diversity, sensitivity and heart. I highly recommend this because our kids need to see more of these stories to know they image is reflected and to help them dream and create their own futures with positivity.
  • Bait and Switch Animated Movie - Please Read

Bait and switch. Before you hit "Buy" please know that this movie is one long coming out story with just a sprinkling of superhero action. Had I wanted to enjoy a human drama where 75% of the movie was conversation - and where these said conversations focused exclusively on sexual/romantic and familial frustrations - I'd have saved my $10 and turned on Lifetime. You don't need to lie to your fans to make a buck, DC.

Didn’t care for this one, a definite miss for DC. What a waste. What happened to the normal storylines that I grew up reading and loved? While I appreciate new story lines and different directions, this story seemed to be directed for a different audience in mind.

You shouldn't be putting the gay agenda in cartoon/superhero movies. It's descpicable. Let kids grow up, then if they're that way whatever.

DC completely missed the mark with this trash. We picked it up for the kids but couldn’t even make it through the whole movie. Heed the reviews save your money!!!

This is just garbage , now instead of being excited for these movies I will pass and wait for other customers options. My kid told me don’t buy dc movies anymore.
