Falling Skies, Season 4

The melodramatic aspects of this show have completely killed the show. Every relationship is overblown and childish. Over contrived and over acted this show is racing to the bottom. I’d rather watch a movie produced by The Asylum. This season is a complete waste of time.

I really wanted to like this show - just can't get over the poor story lines, juvenile dialog, and lack of direction. Bad.

First season was great. Loved it. Second loved it. 3rd was beginning to get a little out there but I still thought it was fantastic. This season is by far the weakest. Its got a dumb plot. A really dumb/weird plot. Its all over the place. So messy. I hope the final season 5 will be a great and sensible end. There were some great moments, emotional moments, contrasted with really bad acting from the chick who likes Pope mainly, and "Lexi". Lexie is so poorly written, its just dumb. Not a terrible season, but not as great as the first three. Also, the thing with Maggie and Ben?? What?! The black guy was a great added character. Seeing Ann step up was great too, but overall, the good was sometimes out weighed by the bad.

The first season was enjoyable. By the third season I watched in hope that the storyline would be salvaged. After the the first episode of season four, it’s clear that everything that made this show interesting is gone. I feel embarrassed for the actors participating in this tripe. If this story is an example of what humanity has to offer, maybe we should be extinct.

What happened to the script writing for this show? Not only is the show predictable, but the writing does not challenge the actors at all. It’s boring and I’m snoring! How many more principal actors will be bumped off before the season ends? Will there even be a season 5? Was a great show at first, but the story line is redundant. Come on writers… get with it!

First season intrigued you, second one disappointed a little. But the last two, are becoming more painful to watch per episode, no story, everything is predictable. But this has always been predictable. Im not watching anymore too boring always the same thing,

man, i really want to like season 4 but i just can't get into it like i did the first 3. The acting has gone south and the plot is just not there. I really wanted to purchase this season but after 4 episodes I think i'm done.

I’ve bought each season and really like the show a lot. My problem is the network/producers feel the little snippets are way, way more important that the actual episodes! They also feel the snippets are so special they deserve to be called full episodes and get preferred download status! If you want to see the real episode, then your going to have to go to iTunes and search for it because you won’t get download notifications for them. And consider this, the snippets are just little story filler and ego boosters for the cast nothing more and since they are considered episodes you are paying for them! Just think, your paying some actors that has convinced themselves that they have some deep insight or wisdom into the character or story. When the characters are all cookie cutter ‘jobs’ and any of them could be replaced by one of the hundreds of "out of work" actors just waiting for a chance!
