Description

She is a creature of legend — like the Raven, a thief who stole the sun and the moon. They sent a warrior to bring her back. He found her, and together they brought light back to the world. Sexy Amanda Derieux (Elizabeth Gracen), teaming up with freelance security expert, Nick Wolfe (Paul Johansson), puts her high-octane arsenal of charisma and sassy, good looks into full force to charm, confound, and when necessary, destroy Immortals bent on evil. With classic Highlander flourishes, like flashbacks, beautifully choreographed sword duels, and electrifying Quickenings, The Raven Collection marks a must-have chapter for fans of the epic Highlander legend.

I adored this show when it was new, and have bought it on DVD and now on iTunes. I'm a super fan - but I also understand the show wanted to be Moonlighting meets Highlander, and it falls down halfway through because the producers lost funding and then had to scramble to figure out an end for show. Go in expecting season one of a high-concept sci-fi/fantasy show trying to find its footing in the shadow of a much successful original, and you might too fall in love with the immortal thief Amanda trying her best to protect her mortal(?) lover, who happens to be a cop turned security consultant.
