Description

The clock is ticking. Time is running out. But for whom? Find out in the second half of Season Six with the final nine episodes of The Sopranos. Winner of 21 Emmy® Awards, the hit series stars James Gandolfini as New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano. In the first half of Season 6, Tony cheated death after being shot by his now-institutionalized Uncle Junior. As the final episodes take shape, Tony faces another myriad of stress-inducing crises at home, at work, and from the law. While his wife and children each make choices that promise to change the face of the Sopranos' domestic life, Tony also comes to doubt the allegiances of some of those closest to him at work . . . none of whom is above suspicion. Lorraine Bracco, Edie Falco, Michael Imperioli, and Dominic Chianese lead the incredible supporting cast.

The Show is great but for Season 6 it doesn't separate Season 6 part 1 and 2 so it doesn't display right in the iTunes library.

  • Horrible End to a Great Show, But Awesome Series

I started watching the series before I deployed years back, and was finally able to start over and watch each episode from the beginning. I was so excited to see the final three seasons (including both parts of Season 6). The story and the show is SO captivating. However, how they decided to end the final episode was completely crappy. I won't do a "spoiler" on here, but I have to admit that felt pretty angry that I had spent over $200 and all that time downloading everything just for things to end that way. Sure, there are some "critics" that say it is artistic how it ended or something like that, but there are plenty of us regular people that are pretty annoyed with how everything went down. I mean, there are dozens of websites (not even counting blogs) that are out there all because of how the showmakers ended this great series. As upset as I was with the ending and how much time and money I invested (wasted) in this series because of how much I loved it, I still could not rate it with less than five stars. Loved the show, storyline, and actors. Every bit of it, except that ending.

••••••••••••••SPOILER ALERT••••••••••••••• ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I can't understand why so many people were upset that the show ended the way it did. I've also heard people,a lot of people say that it confused them. I urge everyone to google "Sopranos endind explained" and you will understand. While I knew Tony had died after the 2nd time I watched it and only after some hard core attentiveness,I know a lot of people think otherwise but after you read some of the explanations you to will see it. No Chase doesn't come right out and say it, but he does say and I think I have this right "it's all there if your willing to look" that statement still gives me chills. Just something to ponder- Remember they show a flashback of Tony and Bobby talking in the boat about " you probably never hear it coming" talking of when you get Whacked? Now think about why else would chase let the screen go black at the end of the show right at the moment where it's sapposed to go to Tonys point of view, watching Meadow walk in? Huh? Food for thought. Anyway no matter what you think happened or didnt happen you can't deny how great this show was. Thanks.

The best show ever! David Chase need's too make really good, The Sopranos Movie too top it all off, Tony beat Phil and made pace with other bosses. All that left, law trouble?! it's time for son to take over for him. So he can deal with the law?!

The second half of Season 6 leaves nothing to be desired. While even the most die-hard of Sopranos' fans took the show for granted during its original run, at times complaining of lack of direction, like-able story-lines and random character development, The Sopranos swan-song is as invigorating as television gets. David Chase saves his best for last. There are moments in 'Blue Comet' and 'Made in America' that produce the kind of pit-in-stomach to extreme euphoria yo-yoing of emotions unlike anything I've ever experienced. The previous 77 episodes have slowly built up to this. The stakes couldn't be any higher, and every episode has embedded implications that lends itself to the final interpretation of what the show is, was, and will be. Quite Frankly: Watch it.

The Sopranos is the greatest drama to ever air on television. Period. The show is amazing written and directed, topped off but an extremely skilled team of actors who don't portray roles, they become roles. Everything is believable and overall well done.
