I read all the Tom swift books when I was a kid, and this isn't them. Granted, the show never claimed to be anything but a progressivee re-invention of the books, but come on - the shows they are pumping out for TV are more recruitment and propaganda vehicles than entertainment. Of course TV and movies often were so in the past as well, but the msg was more to my liking. I must admit though, I've about had it with a this jiggling stuff around to try and portray some dreamland social justice by totally changing historic's works original form. I guest that is progress to some, while to others it is just plain silliness. At least be original whne you wnat to preach.I guess we can just chose to disagree - at least I hope that freedom still remains.
