Three things are at the core of this series. The heart and passion of the crew to create something unique, colorful, and fun as this gem here. The guts of doing it in 2D animation and setting the level higher and higher every episode, with a quality way above the one you would expect from an average kids show. The fresh air it brings the franchise while still being tributing the originals in many ways. I love it, and i dare to say it’s one of the best pieces of art around right now. Maybe it’s not the “perfect” Tmnt version, especially to the average old fan, but you can’t deny that it’s doing something unique and it’s doing it good.
