Darker comedy than expected. Just not as funny as you’d expect considering the actors involved.
  • I was thoroughly entertained

While I enjoyed the movie a lot, I wish iTunes included the commentary track where Downey Jr. is in character as part of “iTunes Extras”.
  • Not bad

Not great, but certainly memorable and a decent bit of fun. Robert Downey Jr. is a total standout here, he steals the scene every time, and Tom Cruise is hugely hilarious here!
  • It’s a waste of time

It’s a waste of time. I’ve watched this on tv and it was the regular movie and I didn’t find it all that funny.
  • Slapstick humor and not even great at that

Some parodies work, because they feel just real enough that we can imagine knowing characters like them. Not so with this movie, which felt like watching Hollywood buddies act out an elaborate skit that they thought up for their own amusement at a party one night.
