Emily the Criminal

Aubrey Plaza is outstanding in her role as a desperate woman with a shaky moral compass. It’s fascinating to watch her disappear down the illicit rabbit hole and Plaza’s performance is nuanced…being equal parts criminal and victim of circumstances. A must watch.

I don’t know what other viewer watched to give this good ratings. This movie was so boring nothing even happened.

There’s no way the positive reviews are from real viewers. The hero is as bad of a person as the villains… and the ending? She leaves her lover for dead, steals the money he stole from others, and flees the country to starts her credit card scam all over again. The moral compass of this plot is spinning aimlessly while trying to make some kind of hero out of a pretty crappy main character.

This movie is so bad. Love the actors but man, I hope this is the low points of their careers because it could not possible get any worse. By the way, the positive reviews are fake. There is no way the general public enjoyed watching this movie.

Good story & acting. Certainly worth watching!!

This is how movies should be made. It tells a gripping story and keeps you on a rollercoaster ride for the entire length of the film. Excellent acting all around. In an era where 90% of movies are just trash, this film will hopefully remind movie makers what it is to actually entertain an audience with a story rather than special effects or other meaningless cliches. Yes. Watch it.

I haven’t seen a good movie in a while. It seems like they don’t make them like they used too. This was nice. Something different.

Aubrey Plaza is insanely good, absolutely perfect for the role.
