If you like the Spiderman films from the early 2000’s you’ll like this. For me, I’ve moved past that sort of film with poor direction, acting, cinematography, and lack of development. This is not a good film. Has great actors in it, but they were not given the space/stage to deliver a good performance. To me the whole thing felt insulting as an audience member. Poorly directed, rushed, lacked development of story and characters, CGI was mediocre, background soundtrack plays in almost every scene adding nothing but a distraction and a childish element. I could care less about all the undertones the film slips in, as other reviewers alluded to… just as a film it doesn’t earn anything. It’s a shame because the first Dr. Strange (different director) was very good in my opinion. Was a miss for me. Watch to stay in the know of the overall story, but I’m disappointed with the direction on this one. Hopefully future installments are directed better.

Come on.. I don't want to know about people being homosexual, much less have to see it. My last Marvel purchase. Soooo many fake reviews on this one. You can tell because they come in groups and always on the same day.

Way to political and woke. Everyone that watched it said the exact same thing and left feeling this movie was a completely waste of time and money.
  • Lots of magic but no magic at all.

The movie is horrible. Poorly written. Grotesque for the purpose of being grotesque. There’s no marvel magic although it’s full of witchcraft and sorcery. Movie promotes homosexual agenda. Absolutely will not be allowing my children to see it and I turned it off after a few minutes after scrubbing the timeline to see the content themes. Not recommended.

I like that Marvel took a darker route in this movie. It's doesn't get to Deadpool R-rated mayhem, but definitely one you might want to screen before you let your 10 year old kid watch. Overall it's a good entry into the MCU, not my favorite, but still worth a watch. As for the 1-star reviews...I now see a trend. What we have are conservative snowflakes that are offended that the main female hero has two moms (who are only briefly shown), and that there are two superhero female leads. Pay no mind to these easily offended anti-PC warrirors as they wage their battle for justice through fiery 1-star movie reviews...they are on a quest to save civilization, so let us stand aside as they charge at windmills.
